After more than doubling its revenue in 2014, BlueLine Associates
was named one of Consulting’s Seven to Watch as part of the
Seven Small Jewels earlier this year. Now, the Cary, N.C.-based
IT firm, which provides business process management services,
is making its debut as one of the Best Small Firms to Work For, a
designation Rocky Silvestri, President and CEO of BlueLine Associates, calls “huge” for BlueLine.
“It validates our corporate—or
non-corporate—culture, our mis-
sion, work hard and deliver each
and every time for our customers,
and our leadership’s core belief,
that our employees are, in fact,
our most valuable asset,” Silvestri
says. “We strive to create a work
environment that fosters creativity
and openness and one that incen-
tivizes for success.”
Silvestri says the firm supports
the team to enable that success,
while recognizing that consultants
do have lives outside of the office.
“These two key components cer-
tainly help to continuously boost
team morale,” he says.
On the Best Small Firms to Work
For survey, the firm excelled in the
areas of Compensation & Benefits
and Work/Life Balance. “We have
a pretty simple philosophy: give
people a mission worth fighting for,
enable them with the tools to be
successful, and compensate them
for their efforts,” he says. “We also
firmly support our consultants in
life outside of the office.”
Silvestri says BlueLine has many
programs or benefits—such as the
compensation plan, the 401(k)
plan and the employer paid health
plan—that have likely supported
this recognition. “However, I firmly
believe that our culture is the true
driving force that makes BlueLine
one of the “Best Small Firms to
Work For.”
Silvestri says that BlueLine As-
sociates is seeing an increased in-
terest in all markets from Fortune
100 firms to nonprofit organiza-
tions. “Our focus on transforming
and optimizing people, process,
“The idea that you have to be mas-
sive in size and price tag to be really
good at delivering results is waning
and organizations are looking for
good strategic partners to help them
to deliver results to the bottom line.
It’s an exciting time to be an up-and-
coming consulting firm.”
And up-and-coming consulting
firm pretty much sums up Blue-
Line Associates, which continues
to grow at an astronomical rate, but
Silvestri says his number one prior-
ity is strategic growth.
“We want to grow in the right
areas, for the right reasons, all the
while maintaining our winning culture,” he says.

Rocky Silvestri, President and
Chief Executive Officer of BlueLine Associates, says: “Our firm

a focus on not just recommendation but implementation, and
in our transparency. Every single consultant has a direct line
to our leadership team and we
